Please note, there are different versions of the controller. Please check your model before purchase. The best way to check is to remove the actual part and match it to our pictures. It will normally have the model number written on the part. JDM is the same as JDS.

You will need to modify the controller shell slightly to accommodate the new port by cutting the edges to make the new port fit.  

The PS4 is a USB 2.0 only device and this mod will not change that. It will not charge any faster than usual. Some high wattage power delivery chargers may not work with this mod. (It will not damage the mod but it won't charge)
