This cable is only converting the connection type, it will not upscale your graphics & can't improve picture quality. The MAX resolution of your Wii console output is 480p / 576i which means the converter will NOT magically turn your games into 720p or 1080p. Instead the converter will use the component analog 480p video signal and turn it into digital information to be send through the HDMI cable so as to help with the display on a 720p or 1080p TV. Please understand this prior to purchase.
